Leaning Post Mercantile

We are already gearing up for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Fall, with a little bit of Christmas and Winter thrown in for good measure.  It's tough to look at this glass glittered snow balls when it's so hot outside that we could fry an egg on the sidewalk.

 We're working a line of custom made jar labels, perfect for use on Witch's Kitchen Jars.  Well be selling some jars already made up too.  If you are the crafty kind, you can save big on shipping by purchasing just the labels along with the 'free' instructions for grubbying up your own unique jars.

We'll also be making up plenty of witches, pumpkins, crows, fall leaves and sunflowers.  As always, we welcome requests, so if there's something special you've been looking for and haven't found yet, shoot us an email and we'll try our best to come up with something that will work for you.  Have a pattern that you just love, buy you don't sew.. let us know.  We all three sew.  One of us can surely make up items from your pattern for you.

The wheels are in motion.  We are seeing our vision come to life.  The Leaning Post Mercantile is a site that has been in our brains for a while now.  We are finally seeing bits and pieces of it come together.  We aren't a big company where you'll get lost in the numbers.  Our intentions are to start out slow and build a firm foundation on which to build an online business that you will be proud to be associated with.  Our focus will be on home decor items with a Primitive, Folk Art, Country, Rustic or Western theme.  As you can imagine, that could be a pretty wide range of items.

We've chosen the name "mercantile" to hopefully conjure up an image of an old timey general store,  a place that is a convenient first stop for most of your shopping needs.  As time and energy allows, we will be adding craft supplies, patterns, home decor items, smell goods such as candles, room sprays and tarts, tart warmers and candle holders to compliment them, and what ever else our little hearts can dream up.

We will also be showcasing handmade primitive and folk art items from a few very talented artisans.  Most of our handmade items are one of a kind and are perfect for gift giving.  Some of our items are also available in small wholesale quantities, perfect for small gift shops or additions to your antiques and collectables stores.

We are looking for sites with low minimum orders, since obviously, we are just getting started.

The types of items we will be purchasing soon for resale are items that will fit in a country/primitive decor or in a western/rustic decor.  We are presently looking for tart warmers in small quantities.  The other items that we are shopping for are items with barn stars or archetectural stars incorporated into the designs.

We are not interested in drop ship services, overseas wholesalers, fake rolexes, or huge quantities of Ralph Lauren Polo shirts.
