How's this for a different kind of rooster make do? Made of osnaburg and painted antique white. His wings are separate, lightly quilted and attached with vintage bone underwear buttons and navy embroidery floss. His eyes are sewn on black glass beads. Comb, wattle and beak are painted on.

His tail feathers are made up of many rag strips in shades of red, tan, and navy. Some are patriotic prints such as stars or flags. Others are small florals, plaids, or solids. He is perched atop an old wooden candle stick. Very lightly stained for a more vintage look.  14" tall and about 8" across.  Signed and dated by the artist, Susie Hamill.  Pattern and instructions available by request ($8).

Fabric pinwheels are not included but are available in a variety of prints.

Set of 5 vintage spindle bobbins.  One wrapped in navy print, 2 burgundy/red print and 2 tan/white print.  Each set will vary according to what prints are available at the time.

These raggy flags are perfect for using as mug rugs or just to scatter about to add a bit of patriotism to your home.

They are made of quilters cotton. The tops are burgundy striped and navy stars.  The underside is made of a different burgundy print. 

They are machine quilted and the edges have been snipped to help them fray, similar to rag quilts.

Each 'flag' is about 7" wide x 5" high.  Because these are made without the use of a purchased pattern, each one will vary slightly in size.
